Adjustment method of angular contact ball clearance: the working clearance of angular contact ball bearing is ideally adjusted after the bearing temperature rises and stabilizes, so the adjustment of bearing clearance should be carried out in two stages.

 1. Static adjustment: adjust the bearing clearance according to relevant operating specifications and technical requirements at room temperature until the clearance is appropriate and it can rotate flexibly by hand;

 2. Adjustment after operation: loosen the adjustment mechanism properly (to prevent the bearing from suddenly locking due to temperature rise during test run), and carry out idle running test. The idle running time from low speed to high speed shall not exceed 2 hours, and the idle running time at speed shall not be less than 30 minutes. The bearing shall operate flexibly, with low noise, and the operating temperature shall not exceed 50 ℃. Reset and lock the adjustment mechanism. The adjustment and pre tightening of bearing clearance are usually determined by the relative axial displacement of the bearing inner race and outer race. Without fixed adjustment data, it is determined whether the clearance is appropriate according to the specific equipment requirements and operating conditions. If a smaller clearance is required, shrink the bearing outer race with an interference fit to obtain a smaller clearance. Large clearance can be obtained by transition fit.
