Measuring method for clearance of angular contact ball bearing 

1. Close the vertical bearing: the inner ring of the bearing is parallel to the end face of the outer ring, without inclination. Press the thumb on the inner ring and swing it for 2-3 times, and press it down tightly to make the inner ring and rolling body locate and seat. Position each roller so that there is a roller on both sides of the top of the inner race raceway. Push the top two rollers inward to ensure that they are in proper contact with the inner race raceway. 

2. Optional feeler gauge: refer to the corresponding clearance value in the clearance standard according to the bearing bore size, and determine the corresponding larger and smaller feeler gauge pieces according to their larger and smaller values.

 3. Measure the clearance: after the bearing is erected, the clearance between the outer race and the roller on the upper part of the machine is the place with large radial clearance. Rotate the ferrule and roller cage assembly for one circle, and the thickness of the feeler gauge sheet is the measured value of larger radial clearance when three rollers can pass continuously, while the other rollers cannot.
