Are you clear about the three failure modes of bearings

There are many ways to cause the overturned bearing to fail during the whole operation process of the overturned bearing. In the ordinary operation of the overturned bearing, there are three more extensive failure modes: fatigue, brittle fracture and destruction of grinding yarn particles.

1. Fatigue: For rotating turnover bearings, fatigue toughness fracture is the key failure mode, so the service life is mainly calculated, and the static stiffness is calculated when necessary.

2. Brittle fracture: For bearings that do not rotate, have low transmission ratio or shake, part of the plastic deformation is the key failure mode, so the static tensile strength is mainly calculated.

3. Destruction of yarn grinding particles: For high-speed bearings, heating and even artificial board are the key failure modes, so the limit transmission ratio should be reviewed in addition to the service life calculation.
